Episode 31 - What Is Your Season?

This episode is about the color wheel and color theory terms of art. Color typing techniques are also discussed, such as Color Me Beautiful and Silver/Gold types.

I talk about my attempt at knitting Tango. And the miserable failure it was. I hope to get inspired to do some charity knitting for Operation Helmet Liner. Finally I rant about a bookmark to a pattern I should have downloaded years ago.

Episode 29 - Thoughts on Thoughts

With Spring, a sense of renewal also arrives. This usually means for me reigning in creative spurts. While I did have some "startitis," I kept pretty focused on the projects I have been working on since Winter - Jester and Bluebonnet. The immediacy of a wedding and the usual sock knitting made me yearn for airy, yet substantial projects. In this episode I discuss the thinking process of my recent project planning. This process was brought about by my legal writing process.

The main project discussed in this episode is the Collinnette Ab-Fab Throw in Ecru.

In this episode we discuss various techniques of locking the stitches, evening out the tension at the borders of the color changes, and even a one-yarn Intarsia technique from the Knitters Magazine Fall 2008 Article and project.
